Financial details were not disclosed.
Benn was selected in the second round -- 39th overall -- by Tampa Bay in the 2010 draft out of the University of Illinois.
In three seasons with the Fighting Illini, the wideout totaled 159 catches, which was good for a tie for fourth in school history, and his 2,221 yards ranks sixth. Benn also pulled in seven touchdown passes and had one or more catches in 35 of 36 games during his collegiate career.
His best season came as a sophomore when he became the fourth player in Illinois history to surpass 1,000 receiving yards and first since the 2002 season. In 2008 he was named the team's most valuable player and achieved First-Team All-Big Ten honors.
Benn also accumulated 3,615 all-purpose yards with the Illini.
